EDSUK Great British Bake In!
On your marks, get set, bake!
The EDS UK Great British Bake In 2022 is coming! It is a chance to get baking and show off all of that banana bread you have perfected during lockdown – or is pastry more your thing? We are running three challenges across three weeks to find the EDS UK Star Baker and to share recipes and diet facts along the way. You do not have to be a member to take part. Get prepared and add the ingredients to your weekly shopping order.
Challenge 1: 1st March – 7th March – Cake challenge
Challenge 2: 9th March – 15th March – Bread challenge
Challenge 3: 17th March – 23rd March – Zebra challenge
Every challenge will have two Junior and two Adult Star Bakers, chosen by our three judges, who will go through to the Grand Final. Pictures of these scrumptious bakes will be uploaded to our dedicated Bake-In website and the public will be able to vote for their favourites.
We have produced a Bake-In fundraising guide which contains advice on different ways to fundraise during Bake-In, how to promote your challenge and how to setup an EDS UK Bake-In JustGiving page to make collecting money easy. If you’d like to show your appreciation for our entrant’s baking skills, please make a donation via the EDSUK Great British Bake In JustGiving page.
Every penny raised will be used to support people living with Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) and hypermobility spectrum disorder (HSD) so that when they need information, advice or simply someone to listen, we can be there.
