Personal stories about 'Pain'
Many types of pain conditions can affect people with EDS and HSD and pain can have a huge impact on quality of life. Pain may be widespread or it may be limited to one area of the body such as a limb. Headaches and gastrointestinal discomfort can occur as well as joint, muscle, and nerve pain. Acute pain can occur often in the form of joint injuries, tendonitis, bursitis, and synovitis, which are common.

The pain barrier
It’s something that people take for granted each and every day, but I can’t remember the last time I felt comfortable. Whether I’m sitting in a chair, lying in my bed, standing or walking, comfort is a very elusive feeling, an unattainable goal that seems frivolous but is one of my greatest desires.
