Buteyko breathing method with Jane Simpson: Saturday 20th February @ 11am

Jane Simpson has been an asthmatic since birth and has hypermobility. 

It was the asthma link that drove Jane to study the Buteyko breathing method in 1998. She trained firstly in the original method and then, at Oxford University, a more advanced user-friendly version ‘Eucapnic Buteyko Breathing’ so that clients could practice throughout the day, between the more formal practice sessions. Jane has taught Buteyko breathing in Jersey, Guernsey, the UK and America for 20+ years.

EDS specialist in Orthotics and prosthetist with Nicci Leah Rogers: Friday 26th February @ 11:30am

Niccia is an EDS specialist in orthotics. This webinar will cover all you need to know about orthotics, services and equipment available. We will be dispelling common myths & misconceptions. Join us to expand your learning!

MBCT Mindfulness with Sarah Bajakowski: Saturday 6th March @ 11am

MBCT is based on the mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) program, developed by Jon Kabat Zinn in 1979 at the University of Massachusettes Medical Centre. Research shows that MBSR is enormously empowering for patients with chronic pain, hypertension, heart disease, cancer and gastrointestinal disorders, as well as for psychological problems such as anxiety and panic. Sarah will give an introduction to mindfulness and its benefits, followed by a 50 minute mindfulness session. This will be followed by a Q and A session. Bladder issues in children with hypermobility with Marianna Veriki, Paediatric Physiotherapist: Tuesday 16th March @ 11am

Marianna has experience working with children with hypermobility. In this webinar she will discuss the relationship between bladder issues and hypermobility. She will discuss current research, suggest management options and resources for parents.

Tapping and the EFT technique with Janet Broughton MA PGDip FSET MCMI: Saturday 27th march @ 14pm

EFT is akin to acupuncture WITHOUT the needles. We tap on the meridians of the body to re-align the energy where pain and anxiety have emotionally knocked you off balance. Janet Broughton is a Nationally Accredited Advanced Practitioner and Trainer and in this workshop will introduce you to how EFT works and give you an opportunity to try it for yourself.
